One more for the record
(Bugger. Posterous got my Real Name. With the panopticon that the google
machine is making, this is apparently not a Good Thing.) I'm in a new city, with a new job and all the lovely, lovely recru bonus
that makes certain new investments that much more plausible - new car,
here I come! Why does moving out of that other big city make me feel as
though I've left most everything I cared about _back_ there? There's always the implicit challenge of maintaining a long-distance
relationship, but both of us knew what this move was going to involve.
No surprises there. This so-called IT capital, at first glance, has been wet, cold, hot, and
dry, all at the same time? At least there haven't been floods here yet. Work looks interesting so far - the usual bunch of weirdos who manage to
land up selling things that people don't really need to those who can't
really afford them. Or it, in this case. I don't do moral relativism,
which makes me happy. Notebook:
- interviewed a nerd on friday. no one else in the office at that
time, so the baas had to let me do the honours. looks like he's in.
wonderful. more nerds, just what i need
- whats a guy gotta do to get a mmmmutton biryani here?
- one and a half weeks, and i already hate the traffic. and the ricks.
- here's to diwali! and div, if i can wait until then.
